De Tubantia

In April we were mentioned in the de Tubantia (a local news paper) because of our achievements at INESPO. We are going to Den Haag to represent the Cycle Charge. We are very excited and are going to do the best we can to come as far as possible.

The article is written in Dutch, but we have translated it for you:

"Four students from the Bataafs Lyceum have invented the Cycle Charge. The Cycle Charge can easily be mounted at the steer of the bicycle, so you can charge your mobile phone. With this idea they've won the national round of INESPO, an International environment olympiad.

The final is on the first days of June. Martijn Kanger, Gijs Koops, Bart Verver and Chris Bor are busy with starting up the production of the Cycle Charge. At the open day of their school, in January, they sold their first Cycle Charge's. When they were in Amsterdam with INESPO they used a hometrainer for demonstration."

Cycle Charge is a masterclass project by Chris Bor, Martijn Kanger, Gijs Koops and Bart Verver,

made possible by Bataafs Lyceum.
